Stéphane Sabatier has built up a recognized practice of over 25 years in leading international M&A and capital markets firms, with particular experience in complex and cross-border M&A transactions, strategic alliances, corporate shareholder reorganizations, fund-raising, as well as IPOs and capital market transactions for listed companies.
He advises listed and unlisted companies and/or their shareholders on corporate governance issues, and is also involved in shareholder activism.
He has been regularly cited by the American publication Best Lawyers in the Capital Market Law category, as well as in the Corporate Law and Biotechnology and Life Sciences Practice categories.
Stéphane Sabatier was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1996 and holds a doctorate in private law from the Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas. He also holds an Executive Master General Counsel: Strategy and Leadership for Senior Lawyers from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris - SciencesPo Executive Education and a Diplôme d'Étude Approfondie (DEA) Droit des Affaires et de l'Économie from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
