Advised by Aublé & Associés, Weglot, a website translation solution, has received a €45 million investment from Partech, an international investment fund specialized in tech.
Founded in 2016, Weglot has helped more than 60,000 B2B and B2C brands translate and display their websites in multiple languages, including Microsoft, Spotify, Steve Madden and Volcom.
The international growth of businesses and the accelerating shift to online sales have increased the demand for brands that require a multilingual website.
This investment will allow Weglot to further develop its solution and accelerate its expansion, contributing to its mission of helping anyone translate their website effortlessly.
" We are thrilled to welcome our new investor on board and look forward to continuing the growth we have built over the past 6 years. Partech is a great partner to help us accelerate our expansion and allow us to scale the business. This important step will allow us to become the category leader in website translation," said Augustin Prot and Rémy Berda, co-founders of Weglot.
With this growth investment, this is the first time Weglot has taken on outside capital since a 2017 seed round with SIDE Capital.
