Patrick focuses his practice on cross-border and domestic M&A, on joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and on capital markets and financing transactions. He advises listed and privately held industrial groups, investment funds and their portfolio companies at every stage of their transactions, from legal structuring through to final negotiation, and also acts on corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Patrick has been repeatedly selected as an M&A Rising Star by IFLR1000 EMEA. His practice covers a broad range of sectors, with recurring experience in telecommunications and infrastructure, energy transition, aerospace and defence, technology and life sciences.

Patrick practised for more than ten years within US firms, at Davis Polk from 2013 to 2016 and then at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Paris, where he was counsel in the Corporate group.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2013, Patrick holds two Master 2 degrees, in Business Law and in Banking and Finance Law, from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, as well as an M.B.A. from ESSEC Business School.

The matters on which he worked include:

  • Advising Technip Energies on the creation of a joint venture with Airbus, Safran and Tereos in the field of sustainable aviation fuel
  • Advising L’Occitane Groupe and Reinold Geiger, majority shareholder of L’Occitane International, on the take-private bid for L’Occitane International, valuing the company at €6 billion
  • Advising Iliad on its $4.4 billion tender offer for Millicom International Cellular
  • Advising Technip Energies on the creation of a joint venture with John Cockerill in green hydrogen
  • Advising Mercedes-Benz on its investment in Automotive Cells Company, alongside founding joint venture partners Stellantis and TotalEnergies
  • Advising Silver Lake Partners on its buyout of Meilleurtaux from Goldman Sachs PIA and its acquisition of Silae
  • Advising Pfizer on its $95 million investment in Valneva, a French biotech company listed on Euronext and Nasdaq
